Idk why people can’t grow these seeds?!? I didn’t even follow the directions. I put them in my tank on 3/10/24, soaked them with a water spray bottle for two days then seen some shoots coming thru. Then I added some water to just barely cover the soil on 3/12( you can see it on the last picture), kept it like that for like two days then filled with water after about 5 days on 3/19/24 they look like pic #4. Finally on 3/22/24 we have great growth like in pictures 1-3. You can even see the long hair grass growing tall in the back. From my experience this was great value. I still even have a whole packet left over I can use on my next scape. Almost forgot to mention, I do use fertilizer like API leaf zone, and seachem’s plant pack: Fundamentals level 1.

Shipping was fast. I was super excited to start another planted tank so I decided to try these. It's been a week of spraying twice a day and no growth. Followed directions to a t and nothing. I'm super upset. Now I have to clean the substrate out to make sure when I start the tank I don't have seeds decaying in there.

Worked in my terrarium, but did not survive when I put them back in the Koi pond. I think they got eaten.

Long grass grew super fast baby plant is barley growing after almost 3 weeks. I layed my seeds out evenly I put the long grass in the back and I filled the water up to just the rocks and let it grow. after only noticing the long grass growing I thought I took out all the goopy small seeds but I guess I left some behind. filled my tank glad they send two bags because now that I know it does indeed grow I will be planting more for more ground coverage. (Other plant in video is from Petco)

The short seeds grow with very little effort…..I didn’t even plant them properly, and they still grew.

Absolutely love these seeds. I’ve planted them in vivariums, shrimp tanks, fish tanks and more. Dwarf baby tears sprout in 2-3 days and long grass sprouts in 1-3 weeks. Highly reccomend for the price!

So the long hair grass sprouts and grows like crazy in the first 2 weeks of its existence in the tank but then, if there is not enough nutrients in the tank, they start to melt, very fast. Provide enough nutrient for this very hungry grass!!! The short ones take more time to sprout, they look like pink blobs for 2 to 3 weeks at northern hemisphere room temperature, then, they sprout and some with detach and float around, no big deal with that. They do not melt as fast, if at all, as the tall hair grass though.

Plantas hermosas!

Hola! Saludos!
